The condition of JLN stadium deteriorated during Diljit Dosanjh's concert, see VIDEO…

Mumbai Mumbai. The large-scale mess spread at the end of the two-day concert of popular singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the capital has been sharply criticized by the players training here. However, the Sports Authority of India (SAI), which owns the stadium, has promised to clean it by Tuesday. Posted the video of the mess: 'Dil-Luminati' concerts were organized in the stadium on Saturday and Sunday which attracted about 40,000 fans every day. Delhi middle distance runner Beant Singh posted pictures and a video of the stadium's track and field area which was littered with garbage, liquor containers and damaged athletics equipment.

Beant, who won silver and bronze in the 2014 and 2018 National Open Championships, wrote on Instagram, “This is where athletes train but here people drink, dance and party.” Due to such things the stadium will remain closed for 10-10 days. Athletics equipment such as hurdles have been broken and thrown around. This is the status of sports, players and stadiums in India. There are no medals in the Olympics because there is no respect and support for the players in the country.

SAI, on the other hand, said the contract with the organizers was clear that the stadium would be returned 'in the same condition in which it was handed over to them. A SAI source said, the stadium is expected to be cleaned by the 29th. The stadium is also hosting Indian Super League football matches as Punjab FC uses it as their home ground.
