E-commerce export hub is going to be built soon in the country, exporters will get huge benefits

New Delhi : Business is being done within the country through e-commerce platforms. In fact, even after receiving orders from abroad through the online market, one has to face a lot of difficulties in delivering them to the buyer, due to which e-commerce exports are in very limited quantities. But now a very good news has come for these exporters, because it is being told that India's first e-commerce export hub is going to start near Delhi Airport from the month of February. With this, exporting e-commerce will become much easier.

Not only this, with its construction exporters can get all the facilities under one roof. This export hub will have all the facilities from custom clearance to completing all other export processes. Apart from this, this hub will also have a warehouse for exporters, where they can easily store their goods. Separate infrastructure is also being prepared for packaging and labeling.

In this first export hub of the country, exporters are already going to keep their goods ready in ready to move mode, which will be exported as soon as the order is received. In the budget for the financial year 2024-25, the Modi government had announced the creation of more than 10 e-commerce export hubs across the country. Small businessmen from small towns will also be able to ship their goods abroad. Through this hub, exporters will also be able to get all the incentives related to exports. To achieve this, no minimum amount of export has been fixed.

These 2 companies got the responsibility

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade i.e. DGFT has also discussed with all the parties to create an e-commerce export hub. Under the pilot project of this scheme, the first export hub is going to be built near Delhi Airport. To prepare this export hub, two companies named Shiprocket and Cargo Service Center have been given the responsibility.

Will be operational from February

DGFT Director General Santosh Kumar Sarangi has informed that this export hub can be ready by February next year. He has also said that with the help of this export hub, e-commerce exports will help in reaching 100 billion dollars by the year 2030. The most special thing about this export hub will be that you can get the facility of custom clearance for 24 hours. So that you will not need to get checking or clearance done again and again.
