After this, frightened passengers started jumping from the train, during which the Karnataka Express coming at high speed from the other track crushed many passengers. So far 12 passengers are reported to have died in this accident. Many people are injured there. Meanwhile, BJP MP from Jalgaon Smita Wagh has given a big statement. He has expressed apprehension that the death toll may increase further, as the condition of many of the injured is still critical.
CM Fadnavis expressed grief
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed grief over the Pushpak Express train accident. I express my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this accident and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.
