The doors of Badrinath Dham opened, the divine court of Badri Vishal decorated with flowers.
The doors of the holy Badrinath Dham have been opened for the devotees today. The doors of the temple opened with full rituals at 6:15 am, which has given new energy to Char Dham Yatra 2026. The court of Lord Badri Vishal was decorated with flowers and there was divine enthusiasm among the devotees. As soon as the doors opened, Goddess Lakshmi was first seated in her temple. The idols of Kuber and Uddhav ji were entered into the temple premises from the south gate.
A crowd of devotees has gathered on this auspicious occasion. Devotees from across the country and abroad are coming to have darshan of Lord Badrinath. There is a spiritual atmosphere in the temple premises. Uttarakhand government and the temple committee have made necessary arrangements for the convenience and safety of the devotees. In this new season of Char Dham Yatra, some important rules have also been implemented, which will help in making the journey more organized.

With the opening of the doors of the temple, immense enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees. Speaking to the media, a devotee said, we are hopeful that we will have a good darshan of Lord Badrinath…we have also kept a Bhandara for the devotees. Another devotee said, devotees from all over the country and the world are coming to see Lord Badrinath…there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees.
New rules for entry
New rules have been introduced in Char Dham Yatra from 2026. Entry restrictions have been imposed at some pilgrimage sites, including Kedarnath, Badrinath and Gangotri, where non-Hindus may face special conditions for entry, while Yamunatri allows visitors of all religions. The authorities have imposed a strict ban on mobile phones and cameras inside the temple premises, so that pilgrims remain fully concentrated during their experience.
