“The education system of the country is in the clutches of mafias..” Arvind Kejriwal’s attack on NEET paper leak case, questions raised on this decision of the government.

After the uproar in the country after the NEET-UG examination and the controversy caused by paper leak, the central government has now started preparing to give ‘military armor’ to its examination system. After consecutive failures in the country’s most prestigious medical entrance exam, the government does not want to risk another mistake at any cost. In this sequence, the responsibility of security of question papers for the examination to be held again on June 21 can be handed over to the Army. This is an unprecedented step, which reflects the government’s resolve to restore the sanctity and credibility of the examination.

According to sources, the central government is seriously considering options like using Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft to safely transport the examination question papers to the examination centres. This strategy has been designed to address the vulnerabilities in the traditional transportation and storage system of question papers, which were exploited by organized gangs in earlier incidents of paper leaks. Now work is being done rapidly on the strategy to link the security structure with military discipline and multi-level surveillance.

Kejriwal raised questions on the intentions of the government

National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given a sharp reaction to these strict steps of the Central Government. Kejriwal has raised questions on the intentions of the government by posting a video on the social media platform ‘X’. He said, ‘Air Force planes will be used to stop paper leaks in NEET. Will this stop paper leaks? How is our government talking like illiterate people? Their intention is not to stop paper leaks. The education system of the country has completely come under the clutches of mafia. If this needs to be fixed then everyone will have to do something together. Nothing will happen if anyone does it alone. Kejriwal has directly questioned the intentions of the government and has advocated collective efforts to free the education system from the clutches of the mafia.

A high-level meeting was held at the Defense Minister’s residence.

This exercise being done by the government has been strengthened by a high level meeting held at the residence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday. In this meeting, every aspect of the examination system was discussed in detail. The meeting saw in-depth discussions on the entire network of paper setting, from paper setting to its printing, transportation, storage and ultimately to the secure supply of question papers to the examination centres. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, National Testing Agency (NTA) Director General Abhishek Singh, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and select senior officials of the Education Ministry were present in this important meeting. Sources say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has started monitoring this entire process and he is in no mood to tolerate any kind of laxity. In this meeting which lasted for about 40 minutes, it was made clear that this time the government does not want to take the risk of another lapse at any cost.

This new security framework is being considered a major step towards re-establishing the credibility of the examination. The government believes that organized gangs had last time taken advantage of the weaknesses in the traditional transportation and storage system of question papers. Due to this apprehension, now a strategy is being worked on to create an impenetrable security circle with military discipline and multi-level surveillance, so that such incidents cannot be repeated in future and the future of the students remains safe.
