The entire amount (about Rs 49,580/-) of five different cyber frauds was returned by the cyber police team of Nawabganj.

Bureau Prayagraj- Complaints registered on the NCRP portal of the police station local by the Nawabganj police team of Ganganagar zone (complaint application number – 1. 33103260063198 2. 33103260063300 3. 33103260063916 4. 33103260063979 5. 33103260064605), the fraudulently deducted money was put on hold from the account of the applicant and a total of Rs 49,580/- was returned to his account.

2. (NCRP N0-33103260063300) Ashok Kumar son of Saligram Patel, resident of Jagdishpur Masni police station Nawabganj Prayagraj, the entire fraud amount – Rs 4100/- was returned.

3. (NCRP N0-33103260063916) Rohit Kumar son of Bholanath, resident of Ulda Maheshganj police station Nawabganj Commissionerate Prayagraj, the entire fraud amount – Rs 11190/- was refunded.

4. (NCRP N0-33103260063979) Lavkush Kumar Maurya, son of Ramsevak Maurya, resident of Mendara police station, Nabavganj Commissionerate Prayagraj, the entire fraud amount – Rs 4100/- was refunded.

5. (NCRP N0-33103260064605) Naila Bano wife Nishamuddin resident of Haraiyapur Pannupur police station Nabavganj Commissionerate Prayagraj, the entire fraud amount – Rs 11550/- was refunded.

01 wanted accused arrested by Handia police station. Registered at Police Station Handia, MO No. 147/2026 Section 69/351 (3) related to IPC, wanted accused Rakesh Pal, son of Asharam Pal, resident of Village Post Gogaon, Police Station Jigna, District Mirzapur, arrested by the Police Team of Police Station Handia today on 03.04.2026 from near Shiv Temple located in village Vasupur under Police Station Handia area and advance legal action as per rules. It is noteworthy that the above arrested accused raped the victim on the pretext of marriage and threatened to kill her if she complained, in relation to which, based on the complaint received, FIR No. 147/2026 was registered at Handiya police station. 01 wanted accused arrested by Police Station Handia Police Team, registered at Police Station Handia of Ganganagar Zone, MO No. 143/26, Section 65(2)/352/351(2) IPC and 5(M/6) related to POCSO Act, wanted accused Sarfaraz alias Photo, son of Akhtar Ali, resident of village Belha Singhamau, Police Station Handia Commissionerate Prayagraj. Handiya police team today, on 03.04.2026, arrested him from near the government tube well located in village Jagua Sodha under Handiya police station area and took advance legal action as per rules.

It is noteworthy that the above arrested accused raped the victim and when the family members complained, he abused her and threatened to kill her, in relation to which, on the basis of the complaint received, FIR No. 143/2026 was registered at Handiya police station.
