The equation between Congress and RJD may deteriorate in Bihar, small parties also in danger

Sanjay Singh, Patna. The political crisis of Lalu family is not ending. After the crushing defeat in the elections, now there has been a shock from the court also. Lalu’s political status has also declined due to family feud. Seeing the weak political position, now even the parties in the alliance have started showing their eyes. Due to this changing political scenario of Bihar, the existence of small parties may also be in danger.

Agriculture Minister Ramkripal Yadav from the Bharatiya Janata Party quota is continuously claiming that many RJD MLAs are in touch with him. He can join BJP. On the other hand, LJP (R) quota minister Sanjay Singh has claimed that some Congress MLAs will become part of NDA after Makar Sankranti. Here, instead of political bitterness, friendship has increased between RJD and AIMIM regarding Rajya Sabha elections. The party and the opposition are waiting for Tejashwi Yadav to return to Bihar.

Why has the distance between RJD and Congress increased?

The game of tug of war between RJD and Congress had started even before the elections. RJD wanted Congress to declare Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial face but Congress agreed to this at the last moment. The tussle between the two parties continued regarding the share in ticket distribution. RJD leaders had a better relationship with former Congress president Akhilesh Singh. But the Congress high command made Rajesh Ram the state president just before the elections. After this the tension between the two parties started increasing. Even during the elections, attempts were made to corner Rajesh Ram. The state president of Congress has given a statement regarding this matter. In response, RJD state president has also given a statement. It is evident from the statements of both that the bitterness between the two parties has increased.

A new political equation may be created

A new political equation may be formed in Bihar after Makar Sankranti. Congress and RJD can separate their ways in the politics of the state. The political closeness between RJD and Owaisi’s party AIMIM has increased regarding the Rajya Sabha elections. The basic basis of RJD’s politics is MY equation. Owaisi’s party also has a strong hold on the Muslim vote bank. By registering victory on five seats of Seemanchal, Owaisi’s party had increased RJD’s problems by breaking into the Muslim vote bank. Even before the assembly elections, Owaisi wanted to be a part of the grand alliance but Tejashwi had put up a no entry board. Congress also seeks its political stake in the minority vote bank. The Communist Party has a political compulsion to remain with the RJD because as long as JDU is with the BJP, the Communist Party cannot join the NDA. NDA also wants RJD and Congress to follow different paths.

Why is BJP claiming defeat?

Agriculture Minister Ramkripal Yadav was once considered Lalu Yadav’s Hanuman. Now he is completely against Lalu family. After RJD’s crushing defeat in the elections, the political status of Lalu family has declined. The reason for the decline in status is also the family discord within the Lalu family. After the election defeat, Tejashwi Yadav left Bihar and went on a foreign trip. Due to this, the opponents got more opportunity to speak.

Ramkripal claims that he has more than 20 RJD MLAs in his contact. If this happens then clouds of crisis will begin to loom over RJD’s existence but it will be known only in the coming days how much strength their claims have. Political experts say that at present there does not seem to be any major reason for the break. All the RJD MLAs elected in this assembly elections are staunch supporters of Lalu and the party.

How much truth is there in the claim of Congress breaking up?

Sanjay Singh, who became minister from LJP (R) quota, has claimed a split in the Congress. Actually, state president Rajesh Ram had called a party meeting. Two elected MLAs did not come to the meeting. Now the minister claims that the party MLA is in touch with him. The minister claims that it would have played a big role after Makar Sankranti. On the other hand, protests continue in Upendra Kushwaha’s party also. Speculation has intensified in political circles that the political conditions and circumstances of Bihar may change after Makar Sankranti.
