New Delhi. ‘You thought you controlled the fire by setting a spark, don’t have this misconception, there is a pile of gunpowder sitting here to reduce people like you to ashes’. This dialogue of Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ seems to be for those recently released films, which were released at the box office thinking that they would make a splash at the box office, but the move backfired. Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna starrer film Dhurandhar is doing wonders at the box office and this success continued on the 46th day.

This spy action thriller, released on December 5, 2025, is breaking records even in its seventh week. The film recorded a new low on the seventh Monday i.e. 46th day and earned only 1.40 crores, but still it has become the highest collecting Hindi film of the week. According to the report of Sacknilk, the film started the seventh week with 1.75 crores, then showed good growth and almost doubled to 3 crores and earned 3.75 crores. With Monday’s collection, the Week 7 total has reached an estimated Rs 9.9 crore.

With this, Dhurandhar left behind the record of Stree 2 (9.35 crores) and became the highest-grossing film of the seventh week in Hindi cinema. If we look at the weekly collection of the film, the beginning of Dhurandhar was very explosive. In the first week, the film earned Rs 207.25 crore, while in the second week this figure increased to Rs 253.25 crore. The film did a business of Rs 172 crore in the third week, Rs 106.5 crore in the fourth week, Rs 51.25 crore in the fifth week and Rs 26.35 crore in the sixth week. Staying in the Rs 100 crore club for four consecutive weeks is a big achievement in itself.

Despite low collections, Dhurandhar has given tough competition to newly released films. At the box office, it has performed better than films like Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective, including Avatar: Fire and Ash, Tu Meri Main Tera, Ikkis and The Raja Saab. Overall Dhurandhar has crossed ₹826.41 crore nett collection in India, making it the highest-grossing single-language film in Hindi. Indian gross is estimated at Rs 989.9 crore and worldwide total has reached Rs 1283.5 crore. The film is now close to entering the Rs 1000 crore club and remains a contender to leave behind Yash’s KGF Chapter 2.
