This unique musical park is spread over an area of 12.90 acres. Its construction has cost approximately Rs 1,170 lakh. Based on the waste-to-art theme, this park includes 34 attractive sculptures made from waste material, which are designed in the shape of various musical instruments. These sculptures have been made in the form of many types of musical instruments.
Not only this, along with replicas of these musical instruments, equipment for sound has also been installed, which makes it even more special. The park also has an open air theater for entertainment and a specially developed sports arena for children, making it an attractive playground for people of all age groups.
This musical park and sports arena will not only be an entertainment venue for the residents of the capital Lucknow, but will also become a confluence of art, environmental protection and sports activities. This effort of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will give a new experience to the city residents.
How long will this park remain open?
People can roam in this park from 10 am to 7 pm. At present, the formal inauguration of the musical park is yet to happen, but LDA has already opened its doors for the visitors. Last Sunday, on the holiday, a large number of people reached the park and enjoyed it.
The special thing is that the people coming to the park will be able to come face to face with all the seven notes of the octave. Ragas are created using the ups and downs of notes. Every raga has its own notes. This is exactly how thaats are prepared. Many artefacts have been made from scrap in the park, which are based on raga and thaat. These artefacts contain only those notes which are in the raga associated with it. When it is played, that raga or thaat is played.
