The first picture of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s grave surfaced, know where the former leader of Iran is buried?
The first picture of the grave of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has now come to light after he was laid to rest. According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) report, Khamenei’s 14-month-old granddaughter Zahra is buried next to his grave. Not only this, his son-in-law, daughter and daughter-in-law are also buried under the same grave.
Why is this place special?
There is a big religious reason behind choosing this place to bury Khamenei. This tomb is located in the Shrine Complex of ‘Imam Ali Raza’, the eighth Imam of Shias. Imam Ali Raza comes from the lineage of Hazrat Mohammad Sahib. Hazrat Mohammad Sahab’s daughter Hazrat Fatma Zahra and Hazrat Ali’s sons were Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain, in whose lineage comes Imam Ali Raza. Imam Ali Raza is the only member of the lineage of Hazrat Mohammad Sahib whose tomb is located in Iran.
Friday prayers became a resolution of ‘revenge’
After the death of Khamenei, the form of Friday prayers completely changed throughout Iran. According to the report of Iran International, now along with worship, Friday prayers have turned into an organized revenge campaign. The ‘Friday Prayer Policy Council’ has announced that until those responsible for Khamenei’s murder are brought to justice, weekly prayers across the country will be observed as “Friday of Bloody Revenge and Retribution”. Religious leaders have made it clear that there will be no talks with Washington and Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz will remain intact.
Direct target on Trump and Netanyahu
This council of Iran has named US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and termed them as the main culprits. The statement said that taking revenge from these two is part of Allah’s justice. The council has called upon people to come forward for “jihad”. Banners demanding revenge have now been put up in mosques and prayer places across the country, which will not be removed until the action is completed.
Public wants to see ‘revenge’
During Friday prayers in Mashhad, Imam Ahmed Alamolhoda bluntly said that revenge should not be just a promise, but the public should see it with their own eyes. At the same time, Saeed Jalili, representative of the Supreme National Security Council, said that Iran’s biggest asset was its leaders, protecting whom and avenging the injustice done to them is now the highest duty of the government and the armed forces.
wave of anger everywhere
The fire of revenge is also burning in different cities of Iran. From Bushehr to Rasht and Tehran, religious leaders have issued a stern warning to America and Israel. Imam Yusuf Jamali of Bushehr even said that he has the power to bring down the White House on the heads of the people inside it. Whereas in Rasht, Maulana Rasool Falahati made it clear that any kind of talks with America are useless in the atmosphere of war. Overall, every corner of Iran now seems to be standing with the resolve to take revenge.
