IPl Retained Player Salary List: Before the mega auction for IPL 2025, all 10 franchise teams have released the list of their respective players. In which all the teams have retained a total of 46 players. However, all 10 teams had a chance to retain 6 players each, hence a total of 60 players could have been retained.

Before the IPL mega auction, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have retained the maximum number of 6 players each, while Punjab Kings have retained the least number of 2 players. After this retention, there is a lot of discussion regarding the salary of the players. In which Sunrisers Hyderabad spent a huge amount on Heinrich Klaasen and retained him for Rs 23 crores. Apart from this, many young players whose salary was in lakhs last year have now directly become millionaires from lakhpatis. Franchise teams have increased their salaries tremendously.

Dhruv Jurel (Rajasthan Royals): Salary increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 14 crore.
Mayank Yadav (Lucknow Supergiants): Salary increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 11 crore.

Tristan Stubbs (Delhi Capitals): Salary increased from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 10 crore.
Sai Sudarshan (Gujarat Titans): Salary increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 8.5 crore
Nitish Reddy (Sunrisers Hyderabad): Salary Rs 20 lakh 6 crores
