Full specs of Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and 16 Pro 5G confirmed before launch; Know-what features will be there in both the phones

Tech News: Both Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G are scheduled to launch in the Indian market on January 6, 2026. Before this, the Flipkart landing page of both the smartphones has also gone live in the Indian market. Additionally, many of its key specifications have also been confirmed through the shopping platform. The landing page of Realme 16 Pro 5G was already live, but details related to its processor, brightness, battery, IP-rating and audio which were not revealed earlier, have also been teased.

Full specifications of Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphone

‘200MP Portrait Master’ has also been used to tease the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphone. Its special features include ‘Industry Leading 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera Combo’, the first Master Design of Realme’s Number series, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, Advanced AI Edit Genie 2.0, 7000mAh flagship level battery with 80W fast charge support, and 6500 nits bright display. On the rear, the device will have a 200MP (main) + 50MP (periscope telephoto) camera setup, and the device will offer a longer focal length for better portraits.

The device can be expected to have zoom capabilities ranging from 1x, 2x, 3.5x, 7.0x, up to 10x, and will feature the all-new TUV Rhineland-certified LumaColor algorithm. For its night photography, features like 3D photon matrix, intelligent match of color brightness, and 16-bit RAW domain compute are being offered, while for its day photography, it is claimed to have more vivid and bright details, ultra-clear rendering, true colors, and redefined lights and shadows. Vibe Master mode and all-zoom 4K HDR video capability have also been teased.

Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphone will bring the first AI Instant Clip and AI Edit Genie 2.0. It has been designed by Naoto Fukasawa, and will be available in two color options, Master Gold and Master Grey. A Camellia Pink color variant will also be available for this, which will be available only in India. The jewel-like metal mirror finish, finely crafted details, ultra-slim form factor and natural material touches are some of the other design aspects. It also has IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance, resistance to 36 liquids and protection against extreme weather temperatures up to 80°C.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, along with 12GB+14GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB storage. Other performance highlights include 8400Mbps peak read/write speed, 4200MHz frequency, +14% faster app download speed, and +53% faster camera launch speed. It features a 6500nits HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display that supports 4600Hz dimming, 2500Hz instantaneous touch response, Netflix HDR, as well as 1.48mm ultra-thin bezels, and a 94% screen-to-body ratio. The 7000mAh battery also claims to deliver all-day battery life, supporting 80W wired fast charging. 9.3 hours gaming, 20.8 hours Instagram browsing, 21 hours watching YouTube, and 125 hours Spotify listening time. The device comes with a 300% ultra volume experience, and is said to deliver three times the impact.

The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G smartphone will run on Realme UI 6.0 custom skin based on Android 16, and users of the device are expected to get ‘stunning UI’, ‘smarter AI’, and ‘smoother multi-tasking’. Additionally, the device is promised 3 years of Android OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates, along with fast and guaranteed after-sales service across the country.

The Flipkart landing page of the Realme 16 Pro 5G smartphone had already gone live, but some of its specific specifications were not revealed at that time. Now they have been revealed, and this upcoming device is said to have MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Max chipset. The device also features a 6500nits sun-ready display, and will be backed by a 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Talking about battery life, one can get 10.7 hours of gaming, 17 hours of Instagram browsing, 22 hours of watching YouTube and 119.7 hours of Spotify listening time.

Talking about the durability and build related aspects of the phone, it also has IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance, resistance against 36 liquids, and the ability to work in extreme weather temperatures of 80°C. It will also support 300% ultra volume, providing a loud, clear and full experience.
