Ranchi: Police has solved the mystery of the murder case of Sandeep Mahato of Pithoria. Angada police station in-charge said that Sandeep was murdered in a love affair and his ex-girlfriend Aarti Kumari had conspired to murder him.

Sandeep Mahato of Pithoria was having an affair with Aarti Kumari of Rudiya for the last four years. Aarti's parents had filed an FIR against Sandeep at Bariatu police station a year ago for sexually exploiting their daughter. Sandeep remained in jail for a long time regarding this matter. Meanwhile, Aarti became closer to a person named Sangam Lohra and Aarti's distance from Sandeep increased. After coming out of jail, Sandeep was repeatedly asking Aarti for the account of the money which Sandeep had spent on Aarti. After this, Aarti along with her new lover Sangam Lohra made a plan to remove Sandeep from the way.

As part of her planning, Aarti called Sandeep to the fair on the pretext of giving him money. After coming to the fair, Aarti took Sandeep to solitude. All three together attacked Sandeep with a knife and injured him, after which he died.
