Haryana:- The government has taken a relief decision for the firefighters. Haryana Agniveer Policy-2024 has been implemented by the government for the firefighters. This policy is for those firefighters who are going to retire in 2026-27. Under Agniveer Policy-2024, retiring Agniveer will be given the facility of reservation in government and private jobs. Apart from this, they will also be given loan facilities for their personal employment.

When did the plan start

Actually, the first batch of Agniveer includes 4045 youth from Haryana. These youth will retire in 2026-27. Keeping in mind the security of their future after retirement, the government has given security cover in the form of Agniveer Policy-2024. The Central Government had launched the Agneepath Scheme on 15 July 2022. Under this scheme, firefighters were recruited in the Army, Navy and Air Force. Out of these, the services of 25 percent firefighters will be regularized. While the rest will be retired.

10% reservation will be available in these jobs

Fire warriors will also be given the facility of 10 percent horizontal reservation in the recruitment of police, mining guards, jail wardens and SPOs. 5 percent reservation will be given in direct recruitment of Group-C. Agniveers of the first batch will be given age relaxation of 5 years. Apart from this, they will also be given exemption in the Joint Eligibility Test. Agniveer who will be self-employed after retirement will be given loan assistance of Rs 5 lakh.

What facilities will be available in jobs available in HKRNL?

Firefighters will also get priority in the appointments made through Haryana Skill Employment Corporation Limited. Apart from this, the industries which pay more than Rs 30 thousand per month to firefighters. The government will provide annual subsidy of Rs 60 thousand to those industries. Agniveer who will serve as private security personnel will be given priority in providing gun license.
