Kuldeep Singh Sengar bail Controversy: Delhi High Court on Tuesday suspended the life sentence of former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the 2017 Unnao rape case and granted him bail. On Sengar getting bail, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has alleged that the Central and UP governments are openly standing with murderer-rapist Kuldeep Singh Sengar.

AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj told PTI on Thursday, “In the Kuldeep Sengar case, the Unnao rape victim initially struggled to get the FIR lodged. Her father was murdered, she herself was attacked, leading to the death of many people, and now, when the culprit has finally been sentenced to jail, the High Court has granted her bail. BJP leader Brij Bhushan Singh and other party leaders are supporting her, which clearly shows that the North The state government and the central government are standing with Kuldeep Singh Sengar. It is a matter of shame that the government is openly supporting a murderer and rapist.

On the other hand, the Unnao rape case victim has described the High Court’s decision to suspend the sentence of Kuldeep Singh Sengar as ‘death’ for her family. Along with this, he has been asked to go to the Supreme Court. Recently, the victim and her mother had tried to protest against the grant of bail to Delhi Sengar, but the police forcibly removed them. During this, both of them had expressed concern over the grant of bail to Sengar.
