Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel today participated in the special program of International Hindu Council organized in Sector 15, Mahakumbhnagar. On this occasion, encouraging the spirit of service, he distributed blankets to the needy and addressed the program.
In his address, the Governor said that we should work with a spirit of service so that the coming generations can take inspiration from it. Service to the poor is the greatest service.
Establish service as a feeling, so that it can spread across the country. Feeding a hungry person is the greatest work. Laying special emphasis on the social role of women, the Governor said that women have an important contribution in the progress of the country. The Governor said that he is making continuous efforts to make women self-reliant.
He has adopted more than 30,000 Anganwadis, apart from efforts like providing sewing machines and motivating women. Under this, 30,000 educational kits have been distributed to children.
He also appealed to the people to take a pledge to get vaccinated regularly to protect their daughters from cancer. Industrial Development Minister Shri Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' Dr. Praveen Bhai Togadia and other social workers were present in the program.
