‘The Honeymoon Is Over’: The Madison Season 2 Taylor Sheridan TV Show Gets Exciting Plot Update

The Madison Season 2 has received an exciting plot update from star Michelle Pfeiffer. Created by Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridanthe show was recently renewed for a second and third season.

What did Michelle Pfeiffer say about The Madison Season 2?

Speaking to DeadlineMichelle Pfeiffer shared some new details about what fans of the series can expect from Season 2.

Pfeiffer told the outlet, “I think the honeymoon is over, and I think we see—or the family sees, and Stacy even sees—that this is going to be a lot harder than the idealism of Montana. And the beauty of it, and the romance of being there, starts to fall away and we see that it’s potentially untenable.”

In The Madison, Pfeiffer plays Stacy Clyburn. The Madison debuted on Paramount+ earlier this year, breaking several streaming records for the service. Excluding Yellowstone, The Madison became Sheridan’s most-watched series debut. The show was renewed for its upcoming seasons before Season 1 debuted. Season 2 has already completed production.

Besides Pfeiffer, The Madison stars Kurt Russell, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Ben Schnetzer, and Amiah Miller. The show is executive-produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Keith Cox.

Sheridan also created hit TV shows like Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923. The Yellowstone universe has spawned several spin-offs like Dutton Ranch and Marshals. The Madison is directed by Christina Alexander Voros and is the fifth television series in the Yellowstone franchise.

Outside of The Madison, Pfeiffer recently starred in Margo’s Got Money Troubles, where she played Elle Fanning’s mother. Pfeiffer will reprise her role in Season 2 of the Apple TV show, along with starring in the upcoming film Wild Four O’Clocks.

The Madison is currently streaming on Paramount+.
