Iconic song ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’ from ‘Border’

There are many specialties of the film ‘Border’. But one of them is the iconic songs of the film, which double the experience of watching it. Its most brilliant song is considered to be ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’, which brings tears to the eyes by briefly narrating the lives of our soldiers. This song was written by legendary writer Javed Akhtar.

The story of making ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’ is also quite interesting in itself. Anu Malik, who composed it, has narrated the entire story of making this song many times. He tells that making this song was not at all easy for him because the composer was going through a very difficult phase in his life at that time. Anu Malik used to make very spicy and romantic songs during that time. His songs were the life of every film.

But there was no use of spicy and romantic songs in the film ‘Border’. That film required only passionate and emotional songs, for which JP Dutta and Javed Akhtar chose Anu Malik. According to him, the composer had the power to create a song that could make people cry in a moment. However, Anu Malik was stuck in the problem of how he would make this song.

Why did Anu Malik start crying?

Then director JP Dutta came forward to help him. He showed Anu Malik pictures of the soldiers deployed on the border, seeing which the composer started crying. Tears started flowing from his eyes and in that emotion he composed the song. But that song was a bit romantic in style, which lacked enthusiasm and emotions. JP Dutta and Javed Akhtar did not like Anu Malik’s composition that much. In such a situation, Anu Malik got worried again. He did not understand how he could make this song better.

Then, JP Dutta again showed him the pictures of those soldiers who serve the country by being posted at the border day and night in the snowy hills. Anu Malik became emotional again after seeing those pictures and he decided in his mind that he would now use every tear as an emotion and make a powerful and enthusiastic song.

The song ‘Sandesh Aate Hai’ returns again in a new style

Anu Malik’s song ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’ was initially completed in about 10-11 minutes. But again it was shortened to 7.50 minutes. Although even then the song was not completed. Javed Akhtar added the paragraph ‘O passing wind’ to complete it. Anu Malik composed the tune of this entire song in 7-8 minutes, which was later completed with the voices of Sonu Nigam and Roop Kumar Rathod.

Now the same feeling of the song ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’ will also be felt in Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty starrer ‘Border 2’. The song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ of the film has been released on Friday, in which the old composition has been given a new style by adding flavor to it. Mithun and Anu Malik made this song together. While Javed Akhtar and Manoj Muntashir wrote. The song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ is sung by Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh and Vishal Mishra along with Sonu Nigam and Roop Kumar Rathod.
