Islamic Revolution Guards Corps opened heavy fire on many areas including Israeli military bases
New Delhi. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps retaliated against the joint attack on Iran by America and Israel. The IRGC has targeted US and Israeli aerial drone infrastructure as well as military bases in several parts of the region. According to a statement issued by the IRGC on March 29, the 86th wave of the True Promise 4 operation was launched in several phases early Sunday. In this, IRGC’s Aerospace Force and Navy together attacked US and Israeli targets in the area with missiles and drones.

According to the IRGC statement, missile and drone strikes in the first phase of the operation hit US targets, including Victoria, Arifjan and Al Kharj. Aerial and drone operational infrastructure as well as weapons stockpiles were targeted. The IRGC further said that in the subsequent stages, bases of terrorist squads of US and Israeli forces, as well as individuals associated with the Komala group, were targeted in several areas. These areas include Arad, Negev, Tel Aviv, Erbil, America’s Fifth Fleet and Al Dhafra. Plumes of smoke and sounds of explosions rising across the region, and images of the wreckage of American planes worth millions of dollars, have thwarted efforts by officials and media outlets in the region to suppress news of Iran’s attacks. The US and Israeli governments launched a large-scale, unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the February 28 assassination of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as several senior military commanders and civilians. These attacks involved large-scale airstrikes against both military and civilian targets across Iran, causing massive loss of life and property and extensive damage to infrastructure. In response, Iran’s armed forces have retaliated by targeting US and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
