Pant was an important factor in India's victory

Pant gave his team historic success on the last Australian tours through reverse sweep and one-handed flick shot. Pant scored 624 runs in 12 innings of 8 matches here at an average of 62.40, in which his highest score was 159 runs. India not only won the match in 2021 on the famous Gaba ground due to Pant's unbeaten innings of 89 runs, but also ended the 32-year reign of the Kangaroo team on this ground.
