‘Only Hindus will be treated’, audience took oath after watching ‘The Kerala Story 2’ in Vasai cinema hall, VIDEO goes viral
Vasai Cinema Hall Video: A shocking case has come to light from Vasai area of Palghar district of Maharashtra. The film ‘The Kerala Story 2’ is being shown in a cinema hall here. A group of spectators who had come to watch the film took a collective pledge to boycott the business and society of the Muslim community after the film ended. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, after which Mira-Bhayander Vasai Virar (MBVV) police have started investigation in view of the seriousness of the matter.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information received, this incident took place in a multiplex located in a famous mall in Vasai. The film ‘The Kerala Story 2’ After the show was over, some people stood inside the theater and started shouting slogans. In the viral video, a person can be seen addressing the crowd and giving an oath that “From today we will do business only with Hindus and will not do any economic transaction with any other (Muslim) community.” In the video, the audience chants ‘Jai Shri Ram’ They are seen raising slogans and supporting this oath.

Outrage on social media
As soon as this video spread on the internet, people reacted strongly to it. Many users termed it an attempt to spread hatred in the society and demanded strict action from the police. As soon as information about the incident was received, MBVV police came into action. Police officials say that they are checking the authenticity of the video and trying to find out who were the people who administered the oath.

Responding to this video, Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar Police wrote that ‘We, on behalf of Cyber Police Station, Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar Police Commissionerate, would like to inform you that appropriate legal action has been initiated in relation to the above mentioned video. Due to the rapidly viral nature of the said video, it is likely to create communal tension between the Hindu and Muslim communities. Therefore, your cooperation is extremely necessary in maintaining law and order. Keeping the above in mind, you are requested to remove the said video from your popular account as soon as possible.”

A senior police officer said, ‘We got information about this incident through social media. At present, patrolling has been increased in the area to maintain peace. We are scanning the CCTV footage and if any inflammatory speech or attempt to disturb communal harmony is found, strict legal action will be taken under relevant sections.”
