Poco M8 5G: Earlier, Poco had teased the launch of a new M-series smartphone in the Indian market through its official X account. Now a new post on X has confirmed that Poco will soon launch the Poco M8 5G in India. A dedicated microsite for this device has already gone live on Flipkart.

The name of Poco M8 5G is not directly mentioned on the microsite, but the URL clearly mentions Poco M8, which confirms that this page is for the upcoming Poco M8 5G only. Poco has also shown its first launched M-series smartphone on this page with the tagline “Designed to Slay”. The black color option of the smartphone has also been shown on the microsite.

A closer look at the teaser image of the Poco M8 5G shows a dual-finish rear panel design, with a matte finish in the middle and vegan leather texture on the outer lining. The camera module of the phone (which is scheduled to launch in India on January 6, 2026) looks the same, confirming rumors that the Poco M8 5G could be a rebranded version of the same device.
Earlier reports had claimed that Poco will launch the Poco M8 series in India in January 2026. However, according to the official X post and Flipkart microsite, Poco M8 Pro is not available at the time of writing this news.
