‘The mission is still incomplete…’ PM Modi made a big announcement on UCC and ‘One Country-One Election’, creating panic among the opponents

On the occasion of the foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented the future roadmap of the party in front of the country. While addressing BJP workers on Monday, PM Modi made it clear that Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and ‘One Nation One Election’ are two big agendas of BJP, which are yet to be completed. He said that serious and positive discussions are going on in the country on both these issues and the government is moving forward strongly in this direction.

Congress surrounded on foundation day

While addressing a virtual program organized on the occasion of BJP’s foundation day, the Prime Minister fiercely targeted the Congress. He reminded how BJP workers endured immense hardships during the Emergency and faced harassment during the Congress rule. The PM said that the foundation of BJP rests on the sacrifice of those workers who did not give up even in adverse circumstances.

Remembered the sacrifices of workers

PM Modi made an emotional appeal while mentioning states like West Bengal and Kerala. He said that political violence has become a culture in these states, where many BJP workers even sacrificed their lives to protect democracy. He stressed that our mission is not over yet, rather we are continuously working to fulfill our ideology and promises.

What is the master plan of UCC and ‘One Country-One Election’?

The Prime Minister explained the importance of these two major reforms to the country. The objective of ‘One Nation, One Election’ is to hold elections for the Lok Sabha and the Legislative Assemblies of all the states simultaneously, so that the resources and time of the country can be saved. Whereas, the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) aims to create uniform law for all citizens in personal matters like marriage, divorce, property and adoption, irrespective of their religion. The PM assured that the country knows that BJP is facing every challenge with full honesty and its positive results will definitely be seen in the future.

Enumerated major achievements of BJP government

In his address, PM Modi presented a long list of historic works done in the last few years. He said that abolition of hundreds of black laws of the British era, construction of new Parliament building, 10% reservation for the general category poor, law against triple talaq, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya… all these are the results of BJP’s honest efforts.

BJP is not a party, it is the ‘mother’ for the workers.

In the end, the Prime Minister gave an emotional message saying that BJP is the only party in the world where the workers consider the party as their ‘mother’. He said that Foundation Day is not just a political event but an emotional moment for every worker. This day inspires us to express our gratitude to the party for giving us the opportunity to serve the country.
