My wife is educated and intelligent. She had changed her religion even before our marriage. In India, everyone has the freedom to live as per their wish and take decisions.” Adnan also said that there are many such relationships in the society where people of different religions marry. According to him, creating controversy over such matters reflects narrow thinking.

“Love and religion are two different things”
When asked whether religion matters in love, Adnan said that love and religion are two different things, but religion is very important for him. He said, “According to me, religion comes first. The person who loves also knows the importance of religion. We Muslims respect the Prophet and Allah more than our parents.”

During the interview, Adnan was also asked from where he gets the strength to keep the fast. On this he said that fasting is not only religious but also beneficial from health point of view. According to him, even from a scientific point of view, fasting activates the good bacteria present in the body, which eliminates the bad bacteria. It also provides benefits to the body like detox and anti-aging.

Regarding his experience in the reality show The50, Adnan said that his journey was very good. However, not everything goes as expected as internal voting plays a big role in the show. He said that many times in the show people have to be convinced to vote and some people even cheat. Still he gave 100 percent from his side and did not cheat anyone. According to Adnan, the audience liked Team 07’s Brotherhood very much.

Adnan’s wife Ayesha Sheikh, whose earlier name was Riddhi Jadhav, is a resident of Mumbai. Before marriage, she worked as an air hostess in IndiGo Airlines. Both of them met in a club. After dating for about two years, they got married in 2024. In the next year of marriage, in 2025, Ayesha gave birth to a son, whose name is Ajnal.
