Amroha: A big news is coming out from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. Kalim, the main accused who brutally murdered Peshkar Rashid, Junior Division Judge in the District Court, has been caught by the police after an encounter. This encounter took place in Didoli police station area, where the accused tried to escape after making a fatal attack on the police.

Minor disputes and dreadful consequences

This whole matter started on 11 January 2026. Amroha SP Amit Kumar Anand said that there was a small dispute regarding overtaking between a car and a bike on the road. Within no time the argument escalated so much that Kaleem and his associates surrounded Peshkar Rashid who was riding in the car and beat him to death. This incident had created a sensation in the entire area.

The accused was absconding since the incident and the police was busy searching for him. The police had also declared a reward of Rs 25,000 on Kaleem. On the basis of accurate information received from the informer, the police laid a trap near Nilokheri bridge. As soon as the police team reached the gate of the old colony, the bike rider Kaleem, seeing himself surrounded, started firing at the police.

Bulletproof jacket saved the life of the inspector

A bullet fired by the miscreant directly hit the bullet proof jacket of Sub-Inspector Mohammad Tariq. It was fortunate that the inspector’s life was saved because of the jacket. After this, the police also retaliated in self-defense, in which a bullet hit the left leg of accused Kaleem and he fell there.

Hospitalization and recovery

The injured accused was immediately admitted to the district hospital. Police have recovered a 315 bore pistol, live cartridges, a Splendor bike and mobile phone from the spot. Kaleem has confessed to his crime and now the police is completing the legal process to present him in the court.
