It is an unmanned surface vessel (USV), specifically designed to attack enemy maritime targets and ships. According to reports, the purpose of this technology is to target important enemy naval targets at low cost and without risking the lives of soldiers. The biggest strength of this sea-drone is its long distance operation capability. It is said that it can operate for a distance of about 1,850 kilometers. Its maximum speed is said to be around 75 kilometers per hour, due to which it can reach the target in a short time. Apart from this, it has been claimed to have the capacity to carry about 453 kg of explosives. It has been mainly designed for such missions, where the drone attacks by directly hitting the target. For this reason it is also called kamikaze style maritime drone.

The design of this drone makes it different from traditional weapons. It moves very close to the sea surface, due to which coastal surveillance systems and normal radars cannot track it easily. It gets the advantage of low height and small size in sea operations.
