The phase of coal crisis in India is completely over, Union Minister claims – We have bumper power backup of 80 days
Amidst the scorching heat and record breaking electricity demand, a big news of relief has come for the common citizens and industries of the country. The Central Government has officially announced that the era of coal shortage in the country is now over forever. Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy assured the nation during a press conference in Hyderabad that the Government of India has a bumper stock of coal in abundance to meet all the power generation needs of the country without any interruption in the coming months. After this big claim of the government, now the danger of power crisis or major blackout in the country in the coming time has been completely averted.
On the instructions of Prime Minister Modi, the maze to deal with monsoon is ready, even heavy rain will not stop electricity.
Union Minister Mr. Kishan Reddy revealed an important secret while detailing the historic achievements of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. He told that monsoon has arrived in India and due to heavy rains and floods, mines get flooded, which causes huge hindrance in coal production and transportation. Sensing this challenge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had already issued strict instructions. Acting on the vision of PM Modi, the Ministry has secured huge advance storage of coal required to generate electricity continuously for 80 days in the country, just before the onset of monsoon, so that not a single house in the country remains in the dark.
Work starts in Argentina’s mining block, precious minerals are coming to India from abroad too
During the press conference, the Union Minister shared another big good news referring to India’s growing strength at the global level. Reddy said that mining work has started rapidly in the very important and strategic mineral blocks acquired by the Indian government in the South American country Argentina and large scale production is expected to start there very soon. Along with this, the Central Government is also continuously running a large-scale exploration campaign within the country to identify new and important mineral reserves. In the areas where exploration work has been completed, commercial auction has also been started in a transparent manner.
Private companies get big incentive, government’s new strategy regarding import of critical minerals
To speed up the industrial development of the country, the Central Government has adopted a new and very flexible strategy. Minister Kishan Reddy said that the government is now giving all possible assistance and special incentives to Indian private companies to import processed or semi-processed critical and rare minerals from abroad into India. This will directly benefit the country’s manufacturing, electronics and electric vehicle (EV) industries, which will no longer have to depend on any one country for raw materials and India will rapidly move towards self-reliance in this sector.
Sharp attack on coal scams of UPA government, now new record of annual production of 1.04 crore tonnes
Yes. Kishan Reddy also heated up the political atmosphere by launching a scathing attack on the policies of the previous governments. He directly alleged that during the tenure of the previous Congress-led UPA government, the country’s coal sector remained in the media headlines only due to big scams, corruption and legal cases, due to which the country had to face darkness. But today, it is the result of the transparent policies of the Modi government that the country is now producing a bumper annual record of 1.04 Crore Tonnes of coal, which in itself is a new and unbreakable record in Indian history.
