New Delhi. Ultraviolette X-47 has been launched in the Indian market. Its price starts from Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Buying EV has now become easier through Battery Flex scheme. India’s innovation-driven mobility company Ultraviolette Automotive has taken a big step in the EV market. The company has launched a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme called Battery Flex, under which you can now bring home the X-47 crossover for just Rs 1,49,000. Earlier this price was around Rs 2.5 lakh, which means there has been a reduction of about 40 percent in its price. Let us know its details in detail.

What is battery flex?

Battery Flex is a model in which you buy the bike at a low price and take the battery on subscription. For this initiative, Ultraviolette has partnered with India’s green-only NBFC Ecofy.

How much will the battery cost?

Talking about battery subscription, it starts from ₹ 2,499 per month. This expenditure is said to be less than the average petrol expenditure of one month. There is a warranty of 5 years on its battery. After completion of the subscription, ownership of the battery will be transferred to the customer without any additional charges.
