Release date of actor Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s film Dacoit changed, earlier it was to be released on March 19.

Mumbai Actors Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming film Dacoit has got a new release date. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters on March 19, 2026, but will now arrive a few weeks later. The makers officially announced that this action-romantic thriller will now hit the theaters on April 10, 2026, instead of the earlier date. Actor Adivi Sesh shared this update with his fans on his official social media handle. Announcing the new date, the actor wrote that ‘Goldfish’ will hit theaters worldwide on April 10.

The film stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role and also stars Mrunal Thakur. The project has generated interest among fans as Sesh has also worked on the writing of the film. The actor, known for choosing story-based projects, has co-written the story and screenplay with Shenil Dev, who is also directing the film. Dacoit is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Apart from Sesh and Thakur, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will also play an important role in the film. The film was earlier scheduled to release on March 19, but reportedly the makers decided to change the date as other big films like Dhurandhar The Revenge and actor Yash’s Toxic A Fairytale for Grown-ups were also scheduled to release on the same day. However, Toxic has now been pushed to June 2026, while Pawan Kalyan’s film Ustad Bhagat Singh has moved to that date. Adivi Sesh was last seen in HIT: The Second Case, directed by Shailesh Kolanu.
