The ‘Season triple-double record by team’ quiz
The New York Knicks got major contributions from multiple players on Thursday in their important win over the Boston Celtics, with Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns both posting double-doubles.
But it was Josh Hart who led the way in scoring with 26 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter and two massive three-pointers in the final minute of the game.
“He’s a special player,” Towns gushed about Hart after the win.
“He does so much for our team that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet. But at any moment, he could do those things, and we trust him with the ball.”
The win kept the Knicks a game ahead of the Cavaliers for the third-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs and kept their slim hopes of catching Boston for the No. 2-seed alive as well.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Hart proved he can do a bit of everything with the Knicks last season when he recorded a franchise single-season record nine triple-doubles. With that being said, can you name the single-season triple-double leader for each NBA franchise since the ABA/NBA merger?
