Recently, a powerful trailer of the film The Kerala Story 2, being made under the direction of National Award winning director Kamakhya Narayan Singh, has been released. This next part of the 2022 film ‘The Kerala Story’ promises a story that is darker and bigger than ever before. The disturbing story of three Hindu girls will be shown in this film.

Sunshine Picture has shared the trailer of the film The Kerala Story 2 on its Instagram. While sharing the trailer, the makers wrote in the caption – ‘They targeted our daughters. He broke their trust. They took away their future. This time we will not remain silent. The story will continue beyond this. This time we will not tolerate… we will fight. The trailer of Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond has now been released. In theaters on February 27, 2026.

The trailer begins with a chilling warning: India could turn into an Islamic state in the next 25 years. Soon after, the story shifts to Rajasthan, where a troubled Hindu family arrives at the police station to lodge a POCSO complaint. He alleges that his 16 year old daughter has been forcibly converted. The pain and helplessness of those parents sets the tone for the story that follows. From there the story reaches Madhya Pradesh, where a Hindu girl is allegedly lured into a marriage trap, and then forced to convert. Her silent suffering and loneliness paint a haunting picture of betrayal and broken trust.

Whereas, the third part of this story takes us back to Kerala. Here a Muslim boy proposes a live-in relationship to his Hindu girlfriend. When the girl clearly says that she will not change her religion, the situation starts worsening. The trailer shows scenes of heated debate and confrontation where he is pressured to give up his faith, reflecting the battle between identity, faith and personal freedom.

Actresses Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia and Aishwarya Ojha will be seen in lead roles in the film The Kerala Story 2. The lives of these three start descending into darkness when they enter into relationships with three Muslim youths. The film has been produced by National Award winner Kamakhya Narayan Singh, while Ashin A Shah has co-produced it under the banner of Sunshine Pictures. The film will be released in theaters on 27 February 2026.
