Bureau Prayagraj- Despite having electric poles installed in Shankargarh Nagar Panchayat, street lights are not installed on most of the poles and those where they are installed are faulty. As a result, the entire area gets immersed in darkness in the evening, due to which local residents and pedestrians have to face a lot of trouble in transportation.
People face difficulty in commuting due to darkness in the area in the evening. Residents say that the street lights installed on the poles in the ward, especially at Pankha intersection, were out of order for about a month, which could not be rectified even after complaining several times. The ward residents have demanded from the Chairman and Executive Officer of Nagar Panchayat Shankargarh to get the street lights installed as soon as possible.”
