Patna: A very big and good news has come for the students of Bihar. Now students of Patna’s historical Devipad Shaheed Smarak (Miller High School) Higher Secondary School will not have to pay huge fees for engineering and medical preparation. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary made a surprise inspection of this school on Saturday and while giving a big gift to the students, announced that free coaching for JEE and NEET is going to start in this school soon. This step will directly benefit those promising students from poor and middle class who are unable to pay the huge fees of big coaching institutes.

Special classes will run in the evening, everyone will be able to take admission

After taking a detailed look at the school premises, the Chief Minister said that Miller High School is being made one of the best ‘model school’ of the state. This school will become an example for all other government schools of Bihar in the coming times. The Chief Minister announced that after the regular classes of the school are over, special coaching classes will be conducted here from 5 pm to 8 pm. In these classes, students of 11th and 12th will be provided excellent preparation for JEE and NEET as well as other competitive examinations. The most important thing is that students of not only this school but any school in Patna will be able to avail the benefit of this free coaching.

New model school will be equipped with smart lab and robotics

During the inspection, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary saw the classrooms, science lab, playground and infrastructure of the school. During this, the officials gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the modern ‘Smart STEAM, Robotics and AI Lab’ being built in the school. The Chief Minister himself went to the children’s classes, talked to them and asked about their education. He also took suggestions and advice from the teachers and children present there to make the school a model. Earlier, the Chief Minister also paid emotional tribute to Martyr Devipad Choudhary ji by offering flowers at his memorial.

The playground will be hi-tech, the campus will shine with milky light at night.

The Chief Minister gave strict instructions to the officials that no stone should be left unturned in the transformation of this school. He said that smart classrooms, modern laboratories, big library and excellent sports facilities should be developed in the school. He directed to make the playground of Miller School spectacular and to arrange for adequate lighting there during night time. The Chief Minister said that providing quality education, modern facilities and good study environment to children is the first priority of the government. Only when modern resources are available in government schools, our children will be fully prepared for every future competition.

Senior officials of the state were present during the inspection

During this important visit of the Chief Minister, many senior leaders and administrative officials were present with him. These include Legislative Councilor Naval Kishore Yadav, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh, Energy Department Secretary Ajay Yadav, Patna Division Commissioner Mayank Barbare, District Magistrate Kundan Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya K. Sharma and Miller School Principal Kiran Kumari were prominently present. The Chief Minister has ordered all the officials to implement this action plan within a stipulated time frame.
