The world famous Petha of Agra, Uttar Pradesh is now filling the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj with sweetness. 501 kg Petha has been sent from Agra to Mahakumbh, where it will be distributed as Prasad to lakhs of devotees. This information was given in a statement.

According to the statement, usually only one or two varieties of petha are in demand but an impressive range of 21 flavors has been specially prepared for Mahakumbh. These varieties include pet favorites like Paan Petha, Kesar Petha and White Petha, as well as unique flavors like Barfi Petha, Butter Barfi Petha, Chocolate, Orange and Strawberry. Apart from this, petha laddus have also been sent.
Petha sent to distribute
Petha businessman Rajesh Aggarwal said, “Petha has also been sent from Agra for the consecration ceremony of Ramlala in the Ram temple. Since this Mahakumbh is historical, Petha has been sent to distribute it as Prasad to the saints and devotees participating in this event.”
“Petha has long been a part of the offerings during religious ceremonies and is distributed as prasad to devotees,” he said. Maha Kumbh will continue from 13 January to 26 February.
