The Trial Season 2: Kajol broke her limits after 30 years and gave bold scenes in front of the camera.

News India Live, Digital Desk: Kajol, famous for Bollywood’s ‘Bubbly Girl’ and her serious acting, is in the headlines these days not for her personal life but for a bold decision taken in her professional life. Kajol, who considered her ‘no-kissing policy’ to be set in stone in her three-decade-long career, has finally broken it. Her kissing scene with co-star Jisshu Sengupta in the OTT series ‘The Trial’ has not only shocked the audience but has also sparked a new debate on social media.

Pain expressed in ‘Lily Singh’ podcast: “It felt good in theory, but in reality…”

Recently, while talking in the podcast of famous influencer Lily Singh, 51-year-old Kajol broke her silence regarding this scene. She confessed that she was very uncomfortable while filming this scene on the set. Kajol said, “To be honest, when I read the script, I liked the idea in theory, but when I was standing on the set, I was very nervous. I was not sure whether I would be able to do it or say ‘cut’ midway.”

Why broke the 30 year old rule? There was a demand for the script

When she was asked why she broke her old oath, Kajol gave a very professional answer. She said, “It was not just a kiss, but an important part of the emotional journey of my character ‘Nayonika Sengupta’. That scene was important to show what the character thinks, what are her hopes and what she has to go through. If I had removed it, the entire screenplay and my character would have remained incomplete.” Calling it a ‘professional call’, she said that in today’s times she feels mature enough to take such decisions.
