Quoting sources, it has been said that Jamaat-e-Islami could be behind Hadi’s murder. This claim points to the deep internal strife going on within the Jamaat.

According to sources, Sharif Usman Hadi was becoming increasingly popular among young voters. His growing influence and separate political identity was becoming an uncomfortable situation for Jamaat-e-Islami. A faction within the organization began to see Hadi as a future threat. This conflict gradually escalated to such an extent that violence was allegedly chosen as the way to end it.
It is being said that for this reason a conspiracy was hatched against him. This issue has now become a big political issue in Bangladesh, especially in view of elections and young voters. However, all these things are based on claims and investigation. Sources claim that the conspiracy to eliminate Hadi was hatched in the Jamaat office in Dhaka. A faction within the organization wanted to remove Hadi completely. During this time, internal differences also came to light regarding the alleged contract for murder. Initially there was talk of getting the murder done for one crore taka, but later a tussle started within the group regarding the amount. Sources say that one group believed that the amount was less to remove such a big political obstacle, while the other group talked about keeping the expenditure low. During this confrontation, this entire matter got leaked from within the Jamaat. It is also being claimed that it was agreed to give a separate huge amount to the shooter.
Hadi’s murder linked to India
An important aspect of this entire incident is that a few days ago, an attempt was made to link Hadi’s murder with India. It was said that the accused had fled to India and were hiding in Meghalaya, but Bangladesh could not provide any concrete basis for this theory. An attempt was made to fabricate a story of the accused fleeing to Dubai, but even then no concrete evidence was provided.
