Unnao Rape Case: There is political turmoil over the suspension of the sentence of Unnao rape accused and expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar. The opposition is raising questions regarding the grant of bail to Sengar in this case. Meanwhile, the victim protesting against the punishment has given a big statement. The rape victim has demanded that Sengar be hanged. Along with this she said that Sengar will force her to become Phoolan Devi.

The victim’s family and other women activists protested outside the Delhi High Court on Friday to express their displeasure against the conditional bail granted to Sengar in the Unnao rape case. In this case, the rape victim has demanded that Sengar should also be hanged like the Nirbhaya case. She said, “The court’s decision has frightened the daughters of the country. Now it seems that we, the family or the children will be killed. I will fight this battle as long as I am alive. It is different if someone kills me, but I am not going to commit suicide. I will live for my family and children and will fight Sengar till my last breath. Sengar will force me to become Phoolan Devi.”
The Unnao rape victim further said, “2027 elections are coming. I have come to know that Kuldeep Singh Sengar is trying to make his wife contest the elections. His relatives are also powerful. If such a family is given a ticket from BJP, it will be a grave injustice to me. My father was beaten up.” He has alleged that instead of taking action against those who assaulted him, the police held his father guilty of assault and put him in jail. Later he was murdered. He struggled from door to door for justice. Ultimately truth prevailed and Sengar had to go to jail.
