US attacked Venezuela: There has been news of the US Army bombing the Venezuelan capital Caracas. In which at least 7 explosions occurred and the sound of planes flying below was heard. The attack came at a time when President Donald Trump had already warned that the US military could launch ground attacks inside Venezuela in the coming days. Venezuela has not responded to this.

According to Russia Today report, the US Air Force has bombed Venezuela’s Isla Margarita island where the top army base is located. The blasts have also been confirmed in reports of other media organizations. After the blasts, people in the capital Caracas came out of their homes out of fear. Some people were also seen leaving Caracas. The Venezuelan government has not yet responded to these attacks.
However, these attacks have come at a time when drug smuggling boats are being targeted by the US military. On Friday, Venezuela said it was ready to negotiate a deal with the US to combat drug trafficking. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro had said in an interview that America wants to change the government in Venezuela. He also claimed that America wanted to gain access to its vast oil reserves.
