Soraon police has arrested the accused who was wanted in a serious case of rape and intimidation. According to the police, the wanted accused Sachin Saroj (20 years), son of Ramesh Saroj, resident of village Saraydina, related to the case number 101/2026 registered at the police station Soraon, was arrested on Saturday, March 28, 2026, near Dadoli intersection of the police station area. After the arrest, advance legal action was taken against the accused as per rules.
Investigation of the case revealed that the accused raped the plaintiff’s daughter on the pretext of marriage for about two years. Not only this, when the victim expressed protest or complaint, the accused also threatened to make her photo and video viral. On the basis of the complaint given by the victim’s family, a case under sections 69, 115 (2) and 351 (3) of IPC was registered against the accused in Soraon police station. A case was registered under this, after which the police was busy searching for him.
Success was achieved due to the activeness of the police team. Soraon police station showed promptness and acted on the information of the informer and caught the accused.
