The world is looking at India with hope… PM Modi remembered 2025, laid emphasis on India’s global identity
New Delhi :PM Narendra Modi has said that today India is being recognized across the world for its rapid development and next generation reforms. He said this in a post shared on the social media platform LinkedIn. According to PM Modi, India’s progress, innovation and people’s energy have strengthened the country’s image on the global stage and now the world is looking at India with hope and trust.
India catches the “Reform Express”
Let us tell you that the Prime Minister said that India has caught the “Reform Express”, whose biggest strength is the unwavering confidence of the country’s young population and citizens. He believes that the thinking, hard work and new ideas of the youth have taken India forward in this fast journey of change. He said that today the global community is appreciating the pace of India’s progress and the widespread impact of its reforms.
2025: The year of making reforms a national mission
Looking towards the end of the year, PM Modi said that 2025 will be remembered as the year when India adopted reforms as a sustained national mission. Building on efforts made over the past 11 years, the government modernized institutions, simplified governance and strengthened the foundation for long-term, inclusive growth.

Fast decisions and deep changes
According to the Prime Minister, the government took forward reforms with greater ambition, faster implementation and deeper changes. The aim of these reforms is to provide a dignified life to citizens, give confidence to entrepreneurs for innovation and increase transparency and trust in institutions. He stressed that reforms are not just policy changes, but a means to improve the lives of common people.
Mention of reforms made in the tax system
PM Modi mentioned the reforms made in GST, labor law, foreign investment and tax system. He said that the simple two-slab GST structure of 5 percent and 18 percent has reduced the burden on domestic consumers, MSMEs, farmers and labor-intensive sectors. Also, a big relief has been given to the middle class by giving exemption in income tax on income up to Rs 12 lakh.
Investment, employment and energy sector reforms
The Prime Minister also highlighted 100 percent FDI in the insurance sector, new maritime and labor laws, major trade agreements and clean energy reforms. He said that clean energy has been promoted under the SHANTI Act, while rural employment has been further strengthened through the Viksit Bharat-G RAM G Act, 2025.
India towards trust based system
At the end of his message, PM Modi said that all these reforms are towards moving from a control-based system to a trust-based system in which citizens are at the centre. Describing “Developed India” as the pole star of the country’s development journey, he appealed to the people living in India and abroad to join India’s development story and maintain investment and trust in the people of the country.
