Theft exposed in Khetri Nagar, two accused arrested, jewelery recovered
While revealing the theft in Tatija village, Khetri Nagar police arrested two accused. Jewelery worth Rs 1 lakh was recovered from their possession. The theft was exposed due to the hard work and vigilance of the police.
Jhunjhunu: On September 9, Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Tatija, had lodged a complaint with the police that unknown thieves had entered his house at night and stole gold and silver jewelery and cash. After this complaint, the police registered the case and started investigation.
Police Officer Rakesh Kumar said that considering the seriousness of the incident, he formed a special team. The team collected information from nearby people and examined CCTV footage. Police came to know that the accused had fled from their house after the incident and were hiding in different areas of Churu and Jhunjhunu.
Theft exposed and arrested
The police team continuously chased and raided possible hideouts and conducted search operations in many areas. Ultimately the team arrested the accused from different places. Rahul son of Sumer Singh Gurjar resident Tatija was caught from Bhodan and Kapil son of Guganram Sharma resident Tatija was caught from Sahwa in Churu district.
The police took both the accused into custody and interrogated them rigorously, in which they revealed the location of the stolen jewellery. After this, the police recovered gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 1 lakh from their possession.

Police Station Officer Rakesh Kumar said that a case has been registered against the arrested accused under various sections. The accused are being interrogated thoroughly to ascertain their involvement in other theft incidents.
HC Rajesh Kumar, constable Nemichand, Jitendra and Sandeep Kumar were involved in this action along with Police Officer Rakesh Kumar. Police said that only the hard work and vigilance of the team ensures quick resolution of such incidents.
