There is no threat to Indian ships in Hormuz! Iranian ambassador challenged America, said – ‘Trump made a big mistake’

Iran’s Ambassador to New Delhi, Dr. Mohammad Fatahali has given a very big and emotional statement regarding India. He has said that in difficult times, India and its people have proved to be the most reliable and kind partner for Iran. Amid rising tensions in West Asia, the Ambassador particularly thanked the Indian Government for its cooperation and clarified that the Strait of Hormuz will remain fully open to Indian ships as always.

America’s blockade and Iran’s warning

During an exclusive interview, Ambassador Fatahali gave a sharp reaction to the blockade being carried out by the US Navy in the Persian Gulf. He warned that if the US tried to block the Strait of Hormuz, it would have serious economic consequences. Fatahali said that if this path is closed, not only international laws and rules will be broken, but the entire world economy will be destroyed and oil prices will start skyrocketing like a rocket.

Why did talks between America and Iran break down?

Recently talks between America and Iran in Islamabad were inconclusive. Disclosing this, the Ambassador said that Iran’s Foreign Minister has placed India in the list of 5 special ‘friendly countries’ with which Iran has direct and deep relations. Taking aim at America, he said that Washington had not come with the intention of talks, but to make Iran bow down and ‘surrender’. Our team had clearly said that unless Iran’s rights and interests are respected, the matter will not move forward.

Ambassador attacks Trump’s ‘miscalculation’

Referring to America’s exit from the nuclear deal in 2018, Dr. Fatahali said that Washington has made a huge mistake in understanding the strength of Iran and the passion of its people. He said that America thinks that it will make us bow down by applying pressure, but this is its miscalculation. He clarified that Iran is a supporter of diplomacy, but will not shy away from conflict to protect its interests.

Iran’s special message for India

Speaking to ANI in Delhi, the Ambassador said that relations between India and Iran are centuries old and historical. He said, “I express my gratitude to all Indians who supported us in these difficult times. The Government of India has made every necessary arrangement even in this stressful environment.” He reiterated that Iran has given special permission to the ships of its friend India to pass through Hormuz so that there is no impact on Indian trade.

What did America say?

On the other hand, the stand of the American Army has also come to light. According to Reuters, the US military has talked about a blockade in the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. America claims that this blockade will not cause any problem to ships coming from countries other than Iran. However, they also warned that any ship entering the blockade area without permission could be stopped or seized.
