There is no trust in Pakistan! Iran wants China to play the role of mediator, leaving Shahbaz-Munir
Due to the extension of the ceasefire, there is a soft possibility of a second round of talks between Iran and America (US Iran Talk). However, Pakistan does not trust Iran to act as a mediator. In this situation, Pakistan is approaching China to start the second round of talks. According to sources, Shahbaz-Munir is taking this step according to Iran’s demand. If everything goes well, China’s representatives can be there alongside Pakistan in the role of mediator.
Despite millions of attempts, Pakistan has failed to implement a permanent ceasefire between America and Iran. In this situation, citing top diplomatic sources, the news media ‘News 18’ has brought forward a report. Where it is claimed, Iran’s trust in Pakistan has started to decrease. In this situation, China can play an important role in stopping this war. It is known that 6 issues will be given importance in the second phase of discussion. Notable among the six are meeting Iran’s main demands and guaranteeing lasting peace. Also, Iran and America want to start discussions through several other issues.
Iran claims that Pakistan is playing the role of America’s puppet by cornering Iran’s demands. And Washington is trying to impose 15 to 16 new demands.
It should be noted that recently Iran raised questions about Pakistan’s role as a mediator. Tehran’s state media criticized Pakistan as two-faced. Pakistan army chief Asif Munir was told that Islamabad is leaning towards America and is playing a drama to maintain good relations with Iran. Iran also claims that Pakistan is playing the role of America’s puppet by cornering Iran’s demands. And Washington is trying to impose 15 to 16 new demands.
In this situation, Iran wants China to participate here as a mediator. China’s inclusion here is also important diplomatically. Because China’s relationship with Iran is very sweet. Pakistan lies under America’s feet, but China does not. America does not hesitate to respond if necessary. As a result, China is the most preferred mediator for Iran.
