There was a problem during landing, the helicopter fell into the sea, what happened to 7 people?

An air ambulance crashed on the night of 23 February in the forests of Chatra district of Jharkhand. All seven people on board the plane died in this accident. Another similar news came from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A helicopter crash landed there. It is a matter of relief that no one died in this incident. There were seven people in the helicopter and everyone was rescued safely.

 

On the morning of 24 February (Tuesday), a Pawan Hans helicopter took off from Port Blair. It was to land near Mayabunder but a technical fault occurred just before landing. Due to this reason the helicopter lost balance and fell into the sea.

How did the accident happen?

This incident happened around 9:30 in the morning. The helicopter was carrying two crew members and five passengers. The fortunate thing was that this accident happened just 300 meters away from the runway, due to which rescue operations could be started in time. A company spokesperson has confirmed that despite falling into the water, all 7 people are completely safe and no one is seriously injured.

Tragic accident happened in Jharkhand

While people’s lives were saved in Andaman, on the other hand, in Chatra, Jharkhand, a ‘Beechcraft C-90’ air ambulance of Redbird Airways crashed in the dense forests of Chatra while going from Ranchi to Delhi. In this tragic accident, all 7 people on board the plane have died.

According to DGCA, the plane took off from Ranchi at 7:11 pm but lost radar contact shortly after. The dead included two pilots, a doctor and family members of the patient. The administration has identified all the bodies and investigation into the case is ongoing.
