Violent clash took place between two parties in Nawada village of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. What started as a minor dispute over parking the vehicle quickly turned into a fight. After an altercation between the two parties, people from both sides attacked each other with sticks. After the video of this incident went viral on social media, the police took cognizance of the matter and registered a case against 25 people and arrested 11 accused.

This incident took place on March 11 at around 7 pm. Sumit, a resident of Nawada village, told the police that he was returning home by car with his father and elder brother. A Fortuner car was parked on the roadside near the village, due to which the road was being obstructed and it was difficult to move ahead.

Sumit and his father asked the people present there to park the car on the side. An altercation started between the two parties regarding this matter. In the beginning it was a minor argument, but within some time the dispute escalated and people from both sides came face to face.

After reaching the house there was a fight between the two parties

It is alleged that the matter did not calm down after the altercation and some people reached Sumit’s house. After this, people from both sides came face to face and there was a fierce fight with sticks. Many people got injured during this period. Due to this sudden incident, an atmosphere of chaos was created in the village and people went to their homes.

Someone present there at the time of the incident recorded the video of the entire fight in his mobile phone, which was later made viral on social media. In the viral video, many people are seen attacking each other and using sticks.

Police took action after the video went viral

After the video surfaced, the police took cognizance of the matter and started investigation. Some people alleged that women and children were also misbehaved during this period, although the police have denied these allegations. Police say that this dispute mainly took place over parking the car.

Taking action in this case, the police have arrested 11 accused Deepak, Gaurav, Titu, Nitin, Arvind, Prince, Sumit, Deviram, Jagat, Hari and Sachin. On the basis of the viral video, a case has been registered against a total of 25 people including 13 named and 12 unidentified people from both the parties. The police team is conducting raids to identify and arrest the remaining accused. At present, police surveillance has been increased to maintain peace in the village.
