According to the report of research firm Counterpoint, the average selling price (ASP) of smartphones is going to increase by 6.9% by 2026. This is almost double the earlier estimate. However, this increase in the price of smartphones will not be due to tax. Rather, it is going to happen because of the supply chain. These days, there is a shortage of critical components used in smartphones such as RAM and memory cards, due to which their prices have increased. In this case, its impact will also be seen on the end products of smartphone companies.
