There will be water in Bihar: The period of storm and rain starts from today.

Patna. The weather patterns in Bihar have now started changing. Monsoon is gradually becoming active in the state, due to which there is a possibility of rain and strong wind in many districts. The Meteorological Department has issued different alerts for different parts of the state. There will be relief rain in some places, while in some areas the heat and humidity may still trouble people.

Chances of heavy rain in Seemanchal

According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities may intensify in some districts of North-Eastern Bihar. There is a possibility of strong winds along with heavy rains in Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar. The wind speed in these areas can reach 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. People have also been advised to be careful regarding lightning strikes.

No respite from heat in South Bihar

On the other hand, the weather in the southern parts of the state has not changed completely. The effect of hot winds and humidity will continue in many districts. The effect of heat can be seen in many districts including Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Kaimur. However, there is a possibility of cloud formation and rain with thunderstorms in these areas also.

Why two types of weather in the same state?

According to meteorologists, the influence of moist winds is more in the northern parts of Bihar, due to which clouds are forming and conditions for rain are being prepared. At present, hot and dry winds are active in South Bihar, due to which the temperature and humidity are being felt higher there. This is the reason why different effects of weather are visible in different areas of the state.

Rain may increase in the coming days

The Meteorological Department estimates that the activity of monsoon will increase further in the next few days. Due to this, rainy season may also start in the districts of South Bihar. Monsoon rain is also considered important for the farmers, because adequate rain is necessary for sowing of Kharif crops.
