Many records have been made in the fastest format of cricket, T20 International, but on August 20, 2024, what Samoan batsman Darius Vissere did, no player has been able to do till date. Earlier this record was 36 runs, which was shared by Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Rohit Sharma-Rinku Singh pair and Nepal’s Deependra Singh Ari.

Darius Visser: This feat happened at Apia (Ground No. 2), when Samoa team was chasing the target. Darius Visser scored runs in the over of Vanuatu bowler Nalin Nipikko. That was the score card of the over – 6, 6, 6, 1 run on a no ball, then 6 runs on a no ball and 6 runs. In this way, a total of 39 runs were scored in the over, which included two no balls, due to which the batsman got the benefit of free hit and he made full use of it and made the record in his name.
