This special vehicle will be seen in Maha Kumbh Mela, you will be shocked to see the feature of ATV made in Germany

Lucknow: German made special vehicles have been deployed to extinguish the fire in the Mahakumbh Mela starting in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. These vehicles are capable of running everywhere including sand, mud and water without any hindrance. Not only this, due to their high speed they can reach the place of fire very soon. These vehicles are called All Terrain Vehicles (ATV). On the demand of Yogi Adityanath government of UP, four ATVs from Germany have reached Prayagraj. Fire fighters are being trained to operate this.

CM Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate these vehicles and other equipment on November 25. The price of one unit of these ATVs, specially procured from Germany, is approximately Rs 2.5 crore. These vehicles are equipped with water tanks, pipes and pumps, so that work can start immediately in case of fire. These vehicles are equipped with common fire fighting equipment as well as air compressors and Wampack fire extinguishers. This all-terrain vehicle also has a special type of gun, which can throw up to 9 liters of water at a time.

Equipped with many special equipment

Pramod Sharma, Chief Fire Officer of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 being held in Prayagraj, said that these vehicles are equipped with all modern fire extinguishing equipment and will be able to run at full speed even in sand, swamp and shallow water. These vehicles can also extinguish fires caused by flammable materials and prevent re-ignition. In case of emergency, trained personnel of the fire department will be able to ride on it and keep an eye on the entire fair area. Sharma ji told that for the first time these vehicles are being used in Mahakumbh.

Will run at a speed of 60 kmph

Pramod Sharma said that sometimes there is a delay in extinguishing the fire because vehicles are not able to go inside due to crowd. In most major fire incidents, crews often face congested areas, hampering firefighting efforts. These vehicles can run at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour. Maha Kumbh Mela is to be organized at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj from 13 January to 26 February next year.
