These tears are of happiness… Vijayvargiya gets emotional over BJP’s tsunami in Bengal, accuses TMC government of harassment
Indore. Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya became emotional on Monday over Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) lead in the West Bengal Assembly elections and was seen wiping his tears while talking to the media. He alleged that during the rule of the Trinamool Congress government in the state, BJP workers were badly harassed and false cases of serious nature were imposed on them.
Vijayvargiya has been the general secretary in-charge of West Bengal in the central organization of BJP. He became emotional while talking to reporters in his hometown Indore, saying that during his six-year tenure as general secretary, 300 BJP workers were killed in West Bengal and other workers were badly tortured. During this, he was seen wiping his tears with a handkerchief.
Vijayvargiya said that he had suffered a lot of insults while working in West Bengal. He said that ‘false cases’ were filed against him and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh campaigners in West Bengal on rape, child selling and other charges, due to which he suffered immense mental pain over the years. Vijayvargiya alleged that the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government had made complete arrangements to send him to jail by filing false cases.
He said, “I want to thank the judiciary of the country. The judiciary is very fair which gave us justice. That’s why I am sitting in front of you.” Expressing happiness over BJP’s electoral lead in West Bengal, Vijayvargiya said, ”These tears are of my happiness. I am not a afraid man.”
He also said that BJP’s election victory in this state is a big gift from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to the people of the country. Vijayvargiya accused the outgoing Trinamool Congress government of protecting anti-national elements and said that during its tenure, terrorists, illegal weapons and fake currency were entering India through West Bengal.
